Vignette Tonight
As mentioned previously, I’m trying to release a short story, a “Vignette” each week and 11pm Saturday night is my self imposed deadline. That would be tonight. That would be in about 6 hours from now in fact.
So far all is on track with the first, it will probably be a nudge under 3k words and from a time <spoilers> which I hope you will like. This one is taken from an existing story and is slightly tangential to it.
I’m thinking this is a great way to go, a way to embellish on something I’ve already written and develop it ‘side ways’ into a new area.
So. Tonight. 6 hours deadline!
Rightful Self Criticism
I’ve always struggled with images, adding them to posts, finding them, the whole graphic design thing.
So, to get out of that paradigm of words-only, I shall add an image to as many posts as possible. I’ve got a great one for the first Vignette.
The one at the top of this post I liked because it calls to The Camper story, out in the desert at night looking up at the stars. I can imagine Mike sitting seeing those stars and hearing Companion in the distance running the wild dogs.
